Government Polytechnic Vaishali is situated near Fatehpur Afajalpur road vaishali. Vaishali district is famous in India. It was established by Govt. of Bihar in 2016 under the Department of Science and Technology. Govt.Polytechnic Vaishali is situated on the place of Lord Mahavir. It is one of the fast growing technical institutes in Bihar. It is a fully government polytechnic college managed by the Govt. of Bihar under administrative control of department of Science and Technology, Government of Bihar. The college is AICTE approved and its affiliated to the State Board of Technical Education (SBTE), Bihar, Patna. Govt. Polytechnic, Vaishali presently offers a diploma courses in four streams of engineering, civil engg, Electrical Engg., Electronics Engg. and Mechanical Engg.It is known as the region of religious, actions of Gautam Buddha. It is alsoknown as Mahavirs birth land.It is namedafter the ancient city of Vaishali of Mithila which is mentioned in the Mahabharat as well as in Buddhism and Jainism.
